What is the Bermondsey Square Christmas Market?
The Bermondsey Square Christmas Market is held on the site of a famous Antique Market in the heart of Bermondsey, a vibrant and historic area in south London. The market features a variety of themed stalls, selling unique gifts, handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, and more. You’ll find great gifts for all those nice people on your list – and possibly the naughty ones too! And you’ll be supporting small businesses at the same time.
The market has a great selection of street food, offering delicious dishes from around the world. You can also enjoy a variety of drinks from the vintage bar. And there’s plenty of funky vintage seating so you don’t have to precariously balance your turkey stuffing wrap on your mulled cider while you check your Instagram!
Adding to the festive atmosphere is a DJ playing festive favourites.

That’s right, we’ve locked Scrooge in the cellar so we can give every market visitor a free drink and mince pie! Just head to our vintage bar for a choice of beer, cider, cocktails, mocktails or soft drinks. Nothing makes you feel more like a festive VIP than a free drink and a mince pie. But don’t arrive too late, when our free stock is gone, it’s gone!

“But what about the kids?” I hear you ask. Don’t worry we’ve got you covered with free arts and crafts for some seasonal creative fun. And we’re expecting a visit from Santa Claus, taking time out from his preparations in the North Pole to wish you all a ‘Merry Christmas’.
