Launched on the 8th February 2025, 12-15 Bermondsey Square is a public art space that will be programmed year round by local charity, Forma.
Forma is a contemporary arts organisation that commissions ambitious new projects with artists that are presented with gallery partners both in London and beyond.
They moved to the borough in 2021 when they opened their RIBA awarding winning creative hub FormaHQ. During the day they welcome the growing community in Presse Books, their independent bookshop, and to their sunny rooftop garden designed by celebrated horticulturalist Nigel Dunnett. Come the evening they host a regular programme of free-to-attend cultural events such as film screenings, performances, talks, and workshops.
Forma at 12-15 Bermondsey Square hosts a rolling programme of public art interventions and ties in with their artist studios at FormaHQ. The 14-meter glass-fronted gallery offers an exciting 24/7 platform that brings innovative, artist-driven visions to life, creating a place where art and audience intersect meaningfully.
